FAQ's
If you have any questions about the Revive Reformer Pilates studio, classes, schedules or just general enquiries, then hopefully we can answer them for you all here. If the question is not there, then contact us on info@revive-studio.co.uk.
Do I need Pilates experience?
Not at all! Our classes are suitable for beginners as well as those with previous Pilates experience. Our instructors will guide you through each exercise and offer modifications where needed. You will be made to feel at home the moment you walk through our doors!
What should I wear?
Please wear comfortable activewear that allows you to move freely. Grip socks are required for all Reformer Pilates classes for hygiene and safety. If you don't have a pair, they are available to purchase at the studio for £5.
How early should I arrive?
We recommend arriving 5–10 minutes before your class begins so you have time to settle in and receive any guidance before starting. If it’s a first class, arrive 15 minutes early to have a chat about the machine, and what to expect for your first session.
What happens if I'm late?
For safety reasons, late arrivals may not be admitted once the class has started. Your booking will be treated as a late cancellation in line with our cancellation policy.
What is your cancellation policy?
Classes can be cancelled up to 6 hours before the scheduled start time. If you cancel after this time or do not attend your class, the class will be forfeited and no refund or credit will be given
What if I'm ill or forget my class?
Our cancellation policy still applies. It is your responsibility to cancel your booking before the 6 hour cancellation window.
How long are class packages valid for?
All class packages have an expiry date shown at purchase. Please use your classes before they expire, as extensions are only granted at the discretion of studio management.
Can I get a refund?
Refund requests must be made directly to Revive Studio. Gymcatch does not process refunds back to your original payment method through the booking platform. Any refunds are at the discretion of studio management.
Can I attend if I have an injury?
Please let your instructor know about any injuries, medical conditions, or recent surgeries before your class so we can advise on suitable modifications.
Can I do Reformer Pilates while pregnant?
Please contact us before booking so we can advise whether our classes are suitable for you.
What if the studio cancels my class?
If we cancel due to instructor illness or low bookings, your class credit will be returned to your account, or full refund given if you have paid for a singular session.
How do I book a class?
All classes are booked through Gymcatch. Purchase a class package if required and reserve your space online.
Is there parking available?
Yes, parking is available nearby. Please allow extra time to park before your class. If you want specific car park names, contact the studio manager directly.
How many people are in each class?
Our small class sizes are 6 for reformer, and 8-10 for mat and weights! This allows for more individual attention and guidance.
What should I bring?
Bring yourself, a bottle of water, and grip socks. Everything else is provided.
How often should I do Reformer Pilates?
For the best results, we recommend attending 1 class per week.
